About Missra Rezvani

Missra Rezvani is a nurse practitioner who focuses on orthopedics at NewportCare in Newport Beach, California. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University and a Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner degree, with certification in Adult/Geriatric care, from California State University, Long Beach. She is board certified as an Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner.

She runs NewportCare's osteoporosis clinic and assists in surgery alongside the practice's orthopaedic surgeons. She presented a poster for the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses on developing a postoperative VTE prophylaxis guideline for joint replacement. She has received a "Clinician of the Season" award from Hoag Orthopedic Institute and a "Recognition and Appreciation of Services" award from Hoag Hospital, and was named to the California State University, Long Beach Academic Dean's List. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, a nursing honor society. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies.
