Dr. Furze earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He did a surgery internship at Southwestern Medical Center, then a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. A fellowship at the University of California, Irvine followed.
