About Dr. Karimi
Dr. Karimi graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University in 2001 and received his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Florida and a fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the University of Toronto. He opened a private practice in Los Angeles in 2015 that focused on nasal and facial plastic surgery.
He founded Kian Aesthetic Institute in Los Angeles in 2023 with a regenerative surgical focus. He specializes in rhinoplasty, deep plane facelifts and advanced minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. His regenerative aesthetics work integrates platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), EZGEL and thread lifting into facial rejuvenation.
Kian Aesthetic Institute offers advanced aesthetic treatments, from injectables and laser therapies to regenerative solutions. Dr. Karimi is co-founder and course chairman of the Los Angeles Multi-Specialty Cosmetic Academy. He has been the national medical director for CosmoFrance since 2012.
He served as team plastic surgeon for the Los Angeles Kings for nine seasons. He enjoys traveling, physical fitness, playing piano, reading, cooking and dancing.
