Dr. John Pham, MD

About Dr. Pham

Dr. Pham is a board certified pediatrician who founded Ohana Pediatrics. He cares for babies and children up to 18 years of age. Dr. Pham has extensive experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions.

Ohana Pediatrics offers newborn hospital care, lactation support and prenatal meet and greets for expecting parents. Dr. Pham has worked closely with lactation consultants and is committed to helping mothers reach their breastfeeding goals. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Oregon State University and graduated magna cum laude.

He earned his MD at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He also trained there in subspecialty and emergency pediatrics.

Before settling in the South Bay, he worked in private practice in Beverly Hills, California. He has worked with families in Jamaica, Ethiopia, Colombia and Israel through international medical outreach. He has volunteered as a hip hop dance instructor, a camp counselor in Japan and a mentor for the Boys and Girls Club.

He enjoys the outdoors, camping, tennis and snowboarding.
