Dr. Daniel Rychlik, MD

About Dr. Rychlik

Dr. Rychlik is a partner and the Medical Director of Empower Fertility in Santa Barbara. He personally acquired Oma Fertility Santa Barbara in 2023. The clinic operated under the new name Empower Fertility. He earned a biology degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.

He completed an OB/GYN residency at St. Francis Hospital and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Chicago. He took part in the CREST Scholar Program through Duke University and the National Institutes of Health, which focused on clinical research training in reproductive medicine. Earlier in his career he was Program Director of the Marian Regional Medical Center OB/GYN Residency Program.

He served as Medical Director of reproductive endocrinology at several institutions across Arizona, Virginia and California. He said: "Our goal is to empower individuals and couples with the knowledge and support they need to navigate their fertility journey." Outside medicine, he holds the rank of Major in the Civil Air Patrol as a Search and Rescue Pilot and enjoys playing the guitar.
