About Dr. Kalan
Dr. Kalan is a co-founder of Los Angeles Reproductive Center. He studied aquatic biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. He did his OB/GYN residency at the University of Southern California and was Chief Resident in his final year.
He then completed a three-year fellowship at USC. His current work focuses on personalized fertility care, including stimulated, mini and natural IVF, preimplantation genetic testing, sex selection and egg freezing. He also does microsurgery, including tubal reanastomosis.
He has published on PCOS and IVF optimization. He was interviewed on The Today Show about fertility. Outside work, he enjoys surfing along the California coast.
