Dr. Sawyer B. Haig, D.O.

About Dr. Haig

Dr. Haig earned an undergraduate degree in Geosciences from Williams College in 2000. He received his DO from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012 and graduated with honors. He completed his internal medicine residency at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, starting in 2012, with a focus on inpatient and outpatient primary care.

He received board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2015. He spent six years at Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara as an internal medicine physician in primary care and hospital medicine. He remains on the staff of Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital.

Dr. Haig practices within a concierge or membership model. He values the focused attention and personalized care it allows, plus the chance to spend more time with each patient and be accessible at all times. He was a Global Service Health Intern in partnership with Jimma University in Ethiopia, where he also served as a medical volunteer.

Outside work, he enjoys music, cooking, reading and tinkering with electronics.
