Dr. Barbara A. Hrach, MD

About Dr. Hrach

Dr. Hrach earned a BA in chemistry, cum laude, at Case Western Reserve University and spent her junior year studying at Philipps Universitaet in Marburg, Germany. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1992 and completed her internship and residency in primary care internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1995 and maintains certification through the Continuous Professional Development Program.

Dr. Hrach moved to California in 1995 and practiced for a year with Foundation Health Medical Group in Ventura. In 1996 she moved to Santa Barbara to practice at Sansum Clinic. She joined Dr. Richard Danson in private practice in 1997 and opened her solo practice in 2005. She has taught medical resident physicians at Cottage Hospital and has been involved in medical research projects at Case Western Reserve University, Harvard University and the Centers for Disease Control.
