Dr. Sarah Dudenhoeffer, D.O.

About Dr. Dudenhoeffer

Dr. Dudenhoeffer earned degrees in humanistic psychology and biology at Sonoma State University. She went to Touro University in Vallejo for medical school. She completed her residency in Western Washington, at East Pierce Family Medicine and Good Samaritan Hospital.

She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in diabetology and metabolic health in Napa, California. Her early work in health advocacy was at the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic in San Francisco, where she was a care coordinator. She practiced medicine in Tacoma, Washington and in Fairfield at Ole Health, caring for immigrant and refugee populations.

She practiced at a rural clinic in Kauai before returning to Napa. She has spent time in a free clinic and teaching medical residents. Her whole-patient approach draws on osteopathic philosophy, which looks at the health of mind, body and spirit, along with Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.
