About Dr. Rohrer

Dr. Rohrer received his DO in 2005 from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in 2005. He did an internship at Reading Hospital and Medical Center in 2006 and a family practice residency there in 2008.

In 2009 he finished a sports medicine fellowship at San Diego Sports Medicine & Family Health Center. His board certification in Family Medicine comes from the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine. He also holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine.

He works in primary care, sports medicine, wellness and preventive medicine. Dr. Rohrer is a partner at the San Diego Sports Medicine and Family Health Center. He is an adjunct professor at SDSU and UCSD.

He has taken part in international medical missions outreach. He has provided medical coverage for events and teams that include the Ironman World Championship and SDSU Aztec Athletics. Lifewellness Institute was founded in 2000 by Dr. Lee Rice.

Away from work, Dr. Rohrer enjoys surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking and volleyball.
