About Dr. Hyun
Dr. Hyun earned a Bachelor of Arts in Critical Studies and Film Production at the University of Southern California. Before medical school, she completed a year at Emperors College of Traditional Oriental Medicine. She earned her DO from Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010.
She was a pre-doctoral fellow in osteopathic manipulation, an honor given to two people in each graduating medical school class. She attended the Glendale Adventist Family Medicine Residency Program and earned a Medical Acupuncture Certification through the Helms Medical Institute during residency. She provides an integrative approach to medicine to care for the whole person.
Her practice combines osteopathic manipulative medicine with medical acupuncture. Before medicine, she worked as a film and television sound effects editor. She earned a black belt in Tae Soo Do and became an instructor.
She enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking and martial arts.
