Brent J. Michael, MD, practices Concierge Family Medicine at his own practice in Santa Monica, California. Dr. Michael earned his medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 2000 and completed his internship at the University of Miami and his residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He has served as a professor in the UCLA Department of Family Medicine and has been affiliated with UCLA since 2004.

He provides geriatric health care services and is specially trained in this area, and his office includes an on-site laboratory, radiology, echocardiography, and bone densitometry. He has a focus on cardiac wellbeing, offers on-site ultrasound and x-ray services, and conducts 2-D color flow doppler scans for cardiovascular patient screenings. He has served on several local community boards, including the American Red Cross, UCLA, and St. John of God, and has volunteered at the St. John of God Senior Community since 2014. He received the St. John of God Healing Award for his work with seniors, the Patients' Choice Award in 2009, and the Top 10 Doctor Award in 2014.
