About Dr. Weiss
Dr. Weiss earned a BS in Biological Sciences from Stanford and an MD from UCSF. He completed his residency and chief residency in Emergency Medicine at UCLA. He also received a diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
He founded The Village Doctor in 2004 and is its director. He is an attending physician at Stanford University and advises several local medical and technology start-up companies in Silicon Valley. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Woodside Fire Foundation.
He is working to build The Village Hub, a community gathering place for the town of Woodside. He is interested in personalized medicine, big data and artificial intelligence and how they help doctors give better clinical care.
