About Dr. Bloom

Dr. Bloom earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis. He completed his internship at the University of California, Irvine/Long Beach and his dermatology residency at the University of Montreal. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

He is a dermatologist at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Alameda, CA. He provides dermatologic care for adults and children with an individualized approach to medical, surgical and cosmetic skin concerns. He treats conditions such as acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, vitiligo, hair disorders and skin cancer, and he does procedures such as skin rejuvenation, laser therapy, Botox and fillers.

His clinical philosophy focuses on maximizing patient relief while promoting long-term skin and general health. His research interests include developing aluminum-free topical treatments for hyperhidrosis, particularly for patients with environmental or toxin sensitivities.
