About Dr. Wadas

Dr. Wadas earned her MD at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix. She completed her internal medicine residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and then served as chief resident, teaching and training newer residents. She previously practiced primary care at the Phoenix VA and was the VA Clinic Director for the University of Arizona internal medicine residency.

Dr. Wadas opened Foothills Direct Primary Care in 2021 to remove barriers between patient and physician. She sees teaching as a two-way street, where she shares medical knowledge and patients share what they know about themselves and their health goals. She describes her care as compassionate, respectful and evidence-based.

She helps manage conditions such as PCOS, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and anxiety. Hormone therapy for perimenopause and menopause is available, and she offers weight-inclusive care that focuses on health rather than weight.
