About Ty Montgomery
Montgomery is a family nurse practitioner with DNP and ACHPN credentials. He started as a firefighter and paramedic, then went into nursing and worked in the Emergency Department and ICU before becoming a nurse practitioner. He opened a private family practice in Sedona in 2006, and the local hospital bought it in 2010.
He then spent about 13 years with a national hospitalist company, with extensive work in physical rehabilitation, geriatrics and hospice medicine. He is now returning to a more traditional office-based family practice while still following his patients in rehabilitation.
