About Dr. Johnson

Dr. Johnson earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University Nevada and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University. After residency he worked in a traditional insurance-based practice. That led him to look for a model that put patients first, and he chose direct primary care. He founded Ark Family Health in 2016 to offer more affordable primary care.

He chose family medicine because of his love for others and his wish to help them. He believes lifestyle matters, including nutrition, exercise, sleep and emotional wellness, when more medication is not the answer. Outside work, he enjoys fitness, reading, basketball, music and songwriting, snowboarding, writing and biking.
