About Dr. Shores
Dr. Shores earned a biology degree from Grand Canyon University in 2000. He completed medical school at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He finished Family Medicine residency training at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center and Sports Medicine fellowship training at Arizona State University.
He is board certified in Family Medicine and also has added qualifications in Sports Medicine. He founded Sports Medicine Express in 2010 to give athletes accessible care. He was director of sports medicine for FastMed.
He founded AlphaMeD, which includes four clinics in the Valley, and is President of Medical Operations there. He is also physician medical director for Campus Health at Grand Canyon University. He currently works with Brophy College Prep and Sunnyslope High School, and he is head team physician for Arizona Christian University.
He has also worked in sports medicine with Arizona State University and the Chicago White Sox. He enjoys watching, playing and coaching sports.
