About Rochelle "Shelly" Orr

Rochelle "Shelly" Orr, RN, OGNP, is an OB/GYN nurse practitioner who focuses on infertility and reproductive medicine at MomDoc Indian School in Phoenix, Arizona. Her nursing career began in 1971 in Dayton, Ohio. She went on to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing from Miami University in 1978, a Certificate in OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner studies from the University of Phoenix in 1994, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Graceland University in 2003.

Orr trained in only the second OB/GYN nurse practitioner class Arizona ever offered, becoming the state's 202nd. At Arizona Reproductive Medical Specialists she spent more than sixteen years focused on reproductive medicine, coordinating drug trials and performing ultrasounds and endometrial biopsies. This work brought her the Award of Excellence in the Field of Assisted Production in 2000, and she published research on the topic. She has served as an Adjunct Associate Professor and PA Program Lecturer at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine's Southwestern Center in Phoenix.

Orr joined MomDoc in 2013. She cared for patients across obstetrics, antepartum, postpartum, gynecology, and the nursery at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. She has belonged to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Phi Eta Chapter, since 2004. She has practiced as an OB/GYN nurse practitioner since 1994. Her practice focus includes infertility, reproductive medicine, well-woman gynecologic care, and family planning.
