About Dr. Almeida
Dr. Almeida graduated from The Chicago Medical School in 1991 with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. He completed a combined residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine at the University of San Francisco. He was in academic practice at the University of California, San Francisco and in private practice until 2005.
After 9/11, he worked for several years for the Centers for Disease Control as a physician and bioinformatics specialist consultant. He was also an Assistant Professor of Radiology & Radiation Oncology and later Director of Nuclear Medicine for the University of Arizona Medical Center in Tucson. He is the founder and medical director of the Center for Integrative Healing and Wellness.
His care includes unrushed, comprehensive consults and personalized care.
