About Dr. Giles

Dr. Giles earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Calgary in 1988, then his medical degree from the University of Calgary in 1991. He completed a one-year internship at Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, followed by a three-year Family Medicine residency at the University of Kansas, finishing in 1995.

He began his private practice career with Carondelet Medical Group in Tucson, joined Arizona Community Physicians in 1999, and began his concierge medical practice in 2016, practicing at Tanque Verde Family Medicine, an Arizona Community Physicians office in Tucson. He is affiliated with Tucson Medical Center and holds membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has practiced family medicine in Tucson since 1995.

Dr. Giles has received Tucson Lifestyle Magazine's Top Doctor Family Medicine Award annually since 2000 and has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Family Medicine since 2014. He emphasizes preventative medicine and management of chronic illness, advising patients on diet and exercise for healthy living. His concierge patients receive 24/7 phone, email, or text access, same-day or next-business-day appointments, and visits averaging 30 to 45 minutes, up to 90 minutes for a physical.
