About Dr. Baird
Dr. Baird is a family medicine physician and owner of Utopia Primary Care, PLLC. He went into private practice in South Scottsdale in 1991 with Doctors Robert Flores and Frederick Dicke. He helped found Scottsdale Family Health and was its managing partner until 2007.
He then left to open East Scottsdale Medical Care after 16 years in South Scottsdale. In 2014 he moved to a more personal concierge practice, Utopia Primary Care. Utopia Primary Care works directly with patients on payment and does not contract with insurance payers.
The practice is limited to no more than 400 patients. The practice offers same day appointments and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He acts as a medical quarterback, coordinating care among specialists and serving as an advocate if a hospital stay is needed.
He sees hospitalized patients at HonorHealth hospitals. Outside medicine, he enjoys curling, golf, watching baseball, reading, hiking and collecting sports memorabilia.
