About Dr. Davenport
Dr. Davenport attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee. He did a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Vermont. He is medical director of the Fertility Institute of North Alabama and moved to Huntsville in 2014.
Dr. Davenport performs robotic, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. He also performs robotic tubal reanastomosis and is the only reproductive endocrinologist in North Alabama to do so. For men who have had a vasectomy or have a blockage, he performs testicular sperm aspiration or extraction before IVF.
He believes patients should have every available treatment option and work with him on an individual plan. He has been involved in Reproductive Medicine Network clinical research on unexplained infertility and on infertility related to PCOS.
