About Dr. Basily

Dr. Basily is board certified in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He joined the staff at Seattle Children's in August 2019 and has served as Bellevue Site Lead there. His experience includes pediatric hospital medicine, newborn care and evaluating acute pediatric illness and injury.

He also has pediatric medical director experience in care pathways, communication, quality and patient safety. Through Elite Pediatric Concierge, he offers pediatric care by request, including house calls, video visits and focused phone or text guidance when appropriate. Video visits are for concerns that can be evaluated remotely while the child is physically in Washington.

He also gives second opinions and follow-up guidance, such as help understanding results or medications. The practice works alongside a child's regular pediatrician, who is still important for preventive care, vaccines, chronic care and full medical records. He begins by listening to parents, thinks about what can be checked safely and explains the next step in plain words.
