Dr. Dallin Hubbard, MD

About Dr. Hubbard

Dr. Hubbard earned both an MD and a PhD in biomedical engineering and nanotechnology at the University of Utah. He completed a pediatric residency at Riley Hospital in Indiana, where he cared for medically complex children. He is trained in both general pediatrics and neonatal care, and he has done extensive research and training in neonatology.

He worked as a visiting researcher at University College Dublin. He has co-founded startups, published several first-author research papers and holds a U.S. patent. He founded Direct Care Pediatrics in Sandy, Utah.

The practice runs a Direct Primary Care membership model and does not accept traditional health insurance, which keeps the focus on patients. He cares for newborns, infants, children and adolescents. The practice offers same-day appointments, home visits, virtual care and direct text and phone contact, including after hours.

The U.S. military calls on him to do medical assessments for new recruits heading to boot camp. He speaks fluent Portuguese and some Spanish, and he has recently started learning Cantonese. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking and camping outdoors.
