About Dr. Innes

Dr. Innes is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. In 2019 he completed his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was Senior Chief Resident in his final year. He was chosen for a preceptorship with Dr. Mark Taylor at the Gateway Aesthetic Institute in Salt Lake.

He joined Tanner Clinic in 2019 and sees patients at its Parkway location in Layton. His medical work covers acne, rashes and skin cancer, and he also does surgical dermatology. His surgery includes removing skin cancers, cysts, lipomas, moles and keloids and repairing split ear lobes.

He is trained in dermoscopy, which is used to examine moles for features of melanoma. He offers Swift Microwave Therapy for wart removal. His signature leg vein treatment combines sclerotherapy and Nd:YAG laser in the same session.

He treats all skin conditions and especially enjoys eczema, warts, skin checks, sun damage, acne and skin cancers. He performs cosmetic procedures at Tanner Clinic and at two med spas, Vive Wellness and Aesthetics and Transcend Total Body Rejuvenation. Away from work he enjoys boating, skiing, snowboarding, golf, eating out, traveling and woodworking.
