About Dr. Muse

Dr. Muse is board certified in obesity medicine (ABOM) and a Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association. He earned a BA in chemistry from Brigham Young University in 1981. He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas.

He completed a three-year family medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1989. That same year he opened Highland Family Practice. He wrote the book Satietopathy: It's Not Your Fault That You're Overweight.
