About Dr. Walker

Dr. Walker is a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of Paragon Pediatrics. She started the practice to give personalized care and get the most from the doctor-patient relationship. She trained in pediatrics as a resident at Mount Sinai, Bronx Care, in New York City.

Before moving to South Carolina, she worked in private practice across the New York City boroughs. She set up an affiliation with Weill-Cornell / New York Presbyterian Hospital as an assistant professor. In South Carolina, she was a traditional pediatric attending at a community hospital.

She was a preceptor for resident physicians and medical students from Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is trained in breastfeeding medicine. The practice offers concierge-style pediatric care, with video chat and home visits when appropriate.
