About Dr. Moreines

Dr. Moreines earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology at Harvard University. He went to medical school at Michigan State University. He completed residency training at the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University, and he was chief resident in his final year.

He is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. He has been in outpatient practice since 1992. He was chief of adult psychiatry and associate medical director at Fair Oaks Hospital, and he was medical director of ClinSearch.

He was a principal investigator in clinical research trials on mood disorders, ADHD, anxiety and other conditions. He supervised senior residents in psychopharmacology at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, and he has supervised residents in research at Trinitas Hospital. He treats adults in Westfield and Upper Montclair, New Jersey.

He specializes in mood and anxiety disorders that are hard to treat, adult ADHD and treatment around pregnancy. He has a long history of working with psychotherapists and other mental health clinicians. Westfield Psychiatry Group is a private, self-pay practice that does not accept insurance and has served patients since 1994.
