About Dr. Goddard

Dr. Goddard is the owner and founder of Maine Direct Dermatology, the first direct-care dermatology practice in Maine. She is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She finished medical school at Saba University, where she received academic achievement awards and graduated at the top of her class.

She completed a dermatology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and served as Chief Resident. She then completed a clinical fellowship in cutaneous oncology at Harvard, focused on cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and melanoma. She has practiced at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and served as a Dermatology Instructor at Harvard Medical School.

She provided dermatologic care to underserved rural areas in Tennessee, Montana and Minnesota. Her practice follows a direct care model that focuses on the patient-doctor relationship rather than the insurance-payor-to-doctor relationship. She provides medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, and she performs all cosmetic procedures at the practice herself.

Outside of work, she is interested in culinary arts, interior design and human behavioral sciences.
