About Dr. Favia

Dr. Favia is the founder of Favia Primary Care. He founded his private practice in 2018 after serving in an outpatient clinic. He earned his MD from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2000.

He completed a family practice residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, in 2003. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in Family Medicine. He worked in the emergency room at Marion General Hospital in Marion, Ohio.

He also served as a volunteer teacher and residency preceptor at Riverside Methodist Hospital's family practice residency program. He is on the medical staff at Northwestern McHenry, Huntley and Woodstock hospitals. He provides diagnostic testing services and customized treatment plans for a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

He specializes in chronic disease management for children and adults. He also provides nonsurgical aesthetic services such as skin tightening with Harmony XL Pro by Alma and fat reduction with InMode's Evolve. He values the time he spends with each patient during physical exams, sick visits and diagnostic testing.

He has a particular interest in acute and preventive care, adolescent medicine, diabetes, hypertension, men's health, sports medicine and weight management.
