Dr. Chronos is an internist and interventional cardiologist. He directs Lake Country Medical Concierge and is managing partner of Lake Country Medical Group. He established the group, first named Cardiology Care Clinic, in 2012.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London in 1987. He trained in cardiology and then interventional cardiology at the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Institute in the UK. A British Heart Foundation International Fellowship in 1992 brought him to Emory University School of Medicine in the US to continue research in thrombosis and interventional cardiology.
In 1999 he joined the Atlanta Cardiology Group. His focus areas are general cardiology, coronary artery disease and heart failure. He has published several books, more than 200 peer-reviewed articles and a series of patents in the medical device field.
He founded the Lake Country Rural Health Initiative, a nonprofit. He has said concierge medicine is for people who want to be partners in their care and take part in shared decision-making.
