Dr. Amy Luu, MD

About Dr. Luu

Dr. Luu is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. She earned a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from Vanderbilt University.

She earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed her family medicine residency at the Waco Family Medicine Institute. She cares for patients of all ages, including individuals and entire families. Her interests include preventive care, obesity medicine and women's health.

She has a special interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. Her care includes annual wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care as needed and in-office procedures. She believes health starts with understanding people in the context of their lives and communities.

Outside of work, she likes hiking, photography, rock climbing, traveling and crocheting.
