Jon-Michael Castelli, MD

"Dr. Jon-Michael Castelli is a board-certified pediatrician with over 10 years of experience practicing pediatric medicine in the Bay Area. He has been serving the San Francisco community since 2010 at first California Pacific Medical Center, and now at Discover Health in North Beach, where he has earned a reputation as an expert clinician, diagnostician, and educator of colleagues, students, and families.

His experience spans a broad range of pediatric medicine including neonatal and pediatric intensive care, pediatric hospitalist medicine, and pediatric primary care. Dr. Castelli graduated cum laude from Duke University and earned his medical doctorate at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he also graduated with honors. After a move to the west coast, he completed residency training at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.

Along with providing excellent care to his patients at Discover Health, Dr. Castelli makes an impact in his community by helping to train the next generation of healthcare practitioners. He served as the medical director of the pediatric hospitalist program at the California Pacific Medical Center, overseeing its transition to a Stanford satellite program, and has earned teaching awards for excellence in pediatric education from Dartmouth University."
