Dr. Murray is the medical director of Northern California Fertility Medical Center. He earned a B.A. in Microbiology from UC Santa Barbara in 1989 and graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1993. He finished his obstetrics and gynecology residency in 1997 and a reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at the University of North Carolina in 1999.
He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. His special interests include reproductive surgery, such as laparoscopy and fibroid removal, assisted reproductive technologies, and research in women's health. Earlier in his career he served on the faculty at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine.
There he performed surgeries such as tubal ligation reversal and alternatives to hysterectomy, and worked with women and couples facing infertility and repeated miscarriages. He was also the first director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Reproductive Health in Sacramento.
