Dr. Chenette earned his medical degree at Indiana University in Indianapolis. He completed an internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh's Magee-Womens Hospital and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He joined Northern California Fertility Medical Center in Sacramento on June 16, 2025, bringing over 30 years of experience in fertility care.

He previously served as Medical Director at Pacific Fertility Center in San Francisco and as Associate Clinical Professor at UC San Francisco. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with infertility. He has served as President of the San Francisco Gynecologic Society and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society.
