About Dr. Becht

Dr. Becht earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University, graduating summa cum laude, then went on to Georgetown University School of Medicine with honors, earning election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and went on to a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship, both at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital, and was elected Administrative Chief Resident during her training. Before joining HRC Fertility, she was Director of Egg Freezing and Oncofertility at Columbia University Fertility Center and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and an active member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. She has appeared on the Today Show to discuss egg freezing and fertility testing, and has provided expert commentary for Health magazine and HuffPost. She was named to the Southern California Super Doctors list in 2025 and 2026, and to the Rising Stars list in 2024. She speaks English and Spanish with patients.
