Dana Dahl, MD

"Dr. Dana Dahl grew up in the healthcare environment. Her dad is an orthopedic surgeon and when she was little she would go on rounds with him at the hospital on weekends. This inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare. “I loved science and math, so it was natural for me to go into medicine.”

Balance is the key to good health, according to Dr. Dahl. “Everything in moderation is my motto.” She tells patients not to over commit, and to know when to say no. “It’s OK to work hard but also to say when you don’t want or can’t do something.” She also recommends saying no to extreme dieting! Small calorie changes over long periods of time is the best way to lose weight. And limiting screen time will help improve sleep and overall quality of life.

Dr. Dahl balances work with biking, reading and watching movies with her husband and two daughters."
