Samantha F. Reiter, MD

"Dr. Samantha Reiter was born and raised in Delaware, the youngest of three children. She did accounting and processing work for her father’s steel sales company through her teenage years, and went on to the University of Delaware to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1990. It was there that she met her husband, Carl, and decided to follow her heart and pursue an education in the sciences, working part-time in a lab while completing a post-Baccalaureate Pre-Med program at the University of Pennsylvania. She then helped her husband run a web hosting company during her first 2 years of medical school, and graduated from MCP/Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2000.

On their honeymoon, the Reiter’s put their mountain bikes on the back of their car and drove across the country to see where they would settle down. They fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, so Dr. Reiter came to Seattle for a residency training at Virginia Mason Medical Center. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.

Once in Seattle, the Reiters discovered the allure of the Olympic Peninsula and moved to Sequim in 2003 with their daughter, Maya. Dr. Reiter joined Sequim Medical Associates in 2005.

Sam enjoys trail riding on mountain bikes and motorcycles, snowboarding, cooking, running, and spending time with her family and 2 Akita's."

"SEQUIM MEDICAL ASSOCIATES is 4-physician primary care practice in Sequim, Washington offering physicans who are board certified in Family and internal Medicine.   Located in the OMC Medical Services Building at 840 N. 5th on the second floor,  SMA provides easy access to ancillary services such as laboratory, medical imaging and various specialists. 

We provide 24-7 availability for our patients.  Our office is open Monday thru Friday.  You may contact us after hours, if an urgent need arises, by calling our office and reaching the answering service.  The answering service will then connect you directly to the physician on call if appropriate.  During office hours, we have dedicated staff for Coumadin management, referrals for specialized services, and assistance with your prescription needs.

We participate with most major insurance companies and manage all medical billing inhouse.  

We are a concierge practice.  Our patients pay a monthly fee based on age: $75 for those under 65 years of age, and $90 for those 65 and over.  The monthly fee provides services not billable to your insurance company.  These services include same day appointments when needed, less wait and unrushed visits, as well as quarterly newsletters and patient forums.  We are committed to providing easy access and pride ourselves on our personalized care and service."
