"Dr. Player is Health by Design's Founder, Principal and Wellness Center Physician. He serves as a medical adviser and personal physician to many high-level corporate executives throughout Texas.
Dr. Player founded Health by Design in 1982 with a vision to teach patients a lifestyle of wellness and provide an opportunity to obtain preventive care through trusted physician/patient relationships. During his career as a Nephrologist, he cared for thousands of patients with diabetes and kidney disease and was involved in the care of nearly 2,000 patients with kidney and heart transplants. Dr. Player also provided medical consultative services to leading regional and national health insurance companies.
Dr. Player received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine with a sub-specialty in Nephrology. He received his specialty training at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas."
