William E. Jones, MD

"Dr. William Jones attended The University of Texas at Austin and then The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After completing his medical training he served in the Navy, part of that time as the medical officer aboard a nuclear submarine. Dr. Jones began his private Family Practice in Austin in 1973. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and member of the Texas Medical Association. He has served as president of the Travis County Chapter of the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. He is a member of Mensa as well as a number of other academic organizations. He is a pilot, skier, scuba diver, and computer addict. He enjoys speaking to civic, business, and professional organizations on a variety of health-related topics. Dr. Jones has two grown sons."
