Naja Thomas, MD, MPH

"Naja Thomas MD, MPH is a board certified Family Physician who comes to PPA from a large managed care organization. Dr. Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge an experience working with adults, seniors and children. Dr. Thomas takes pride in managing chronic disease states such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity and hyperlipidemia and asthma. Her practice also focused on primary prevention measures such as mammograms, pap smears, and colorectal cancer screening.

Dr. Thomas attended Howard University in Washington, DC, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She then attended Tulane University of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, obtaining a Masters of Public Health with an emphasis on maternal and child health. After returning to Howard University to complete a medical degree, Dr Thomas then traveled to Daytona Beach, Florida, to complete her family residency at Halifax Health Medical Center."
