Glenn N. Pomerance, MD

"Dr. Glenn Pomerance received his undergraduate degree in Natural Science from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. He completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he was appointed Chief Resident. Before entering private practice, he was the staff ophthalmologist for Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, GA.

He served as a Fellow of the International Eye Foundation in Lima, Peru, received the Alcon Centurion Award for Excellence in Lasik Outcomes and makes frequent appearances in the media, including WTVC-News Channel 9's "This 'N That". He is an active member of  major medical and ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons,, The American College of Eye Surgeons, the International Society of Refractive Surgery and the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology, on which he served as a member of the Board of Directors."
