Dr. Ruffin is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Medical Association, Memphis & Shelby County OB/Gyn Society, Bluff City Medical Society and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist.   She also serves as clinical faculty for the University of Tennessee, Memphis and is a clinical preceptor for the University of Memphis Department of Nursing.  "
