Rebecca Hammel, FNP-C

"Rebecca is a Family Nurse Practitioner and our Clinical Director. She has a background in nutrition and her passion now lies in all-things gut health. Because the gut microbiome plays such an integral role in our health, she finds it is often the most important place to start when addressing inflammation and its downstream effects on everything from the bowels to the skin, brain, joints, immune system etc. She believes in prescribing medications when necessary but understands the role of supplements and alternative treatments as well. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys pretty much anything outdoors and is currently training for her first triathlon. She is originally from California but moved to Nashville where she completed her Master’s degree at Vanderbilt University."
