Melanie moved to Hendersonville from Indianapolis in 2006 and worked as a registered nurse at Vanderbilt Medical Center on the cardiovascular unit.

In 2008, she graduated from Vanderbilt University with her post-graduate degree. After working as a nurse practitioner in an internal medicine office in Hendersonville and a non-profit, faith-based clinic in Westmoreland, TN, Melanie decided to open up her own medical clinic."
