Paul R. Brezina, MD

"Dr. Paul Brezina is a partner and Director of Reproductive Genetics at Fertility Associates of Memphis. He is board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Brezina completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has an MD/MBA degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., where he also completed his residency in OB/GYN and internship in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Brezina currently holds academic appointments at both Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. His main area of research, done in conjunction with pioneers in the field at Johns Hopkins, has focused on genetic testing as it relates to IVF and recurrent pregnancy loss. Dr. Brezina has published more than 50 research papers (more than 35 of which were as 1st author) in numerous professional journals, 6 book chapters, and more than 50 scientific abstracts presented at national and international professional meetings. In addition, Dr. Brezina regularly gives lectures educating other doctors on cutting edge therapies to optimize patient outcomes within reproductive medicine."
