Shannon A Kennedy, MD

"Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, Dr. Shannon Kennedy is also a diplomat of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and a member of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. Dr. Kennedy attended undergraduate school at Boston College where she earned a BS in Biology and enjoyed New England culture and beauty. She attended medical school at the University of Nevada near the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Warm weather, beautiful beaches, and an outstanding residency program drew her to the Medical University of South Carolina where she completed residencies in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  She stayed at MUSC practicing pediatrics until 2008. She transitioned to Hospital-based Internal Medicine and then outpatient Internal Medicine from 2008 until 2012.  Remedy Internal Medicine and Wellness Center was born along this journey, as a result of her dedication to healing and preventing disease."
