"Dr. Preston was raised in western Michigan and attended Michigan State University for medical school. Following completion of her residency training at MAHEC, here in Asheville, she spent time as a traveling physician. She has worked with Indian Health Services in Arizona, in community health in Washington State, and clinics in Latin America and Africa. Dr. Preston’s special medical interests include newborn care, women’s health, preventative medicine and international medicine, and supports patients who choose to include alternative modalities in their health care plans. Besides a passion for medicine, Dr. Preston enjoys spending time her husband and daughter, gardening, travel, dancing, cycling and spending time outdoors."
