"Aneela Cox, MD has an innate passion for the healing arts. She grew up in a Pakistani household in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. Her cultural upbringing which combined spiritual practice and home-cooked nutritious meals set the stage for her future in integrative medicine.
Aneela attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study genetics and African studies. There, she fell in love with Tae Kwon Do, which deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection.
Aneela decided to pursue medicine after a medical tour in Uganda during undergrad and subsequently returned to her hometown to attend medical school. While back in Buffalo, she served as the lead yoga ambassador for the studio helping to build a community of support and love. She also began studying Healing Touch with the local cancer center."
